Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join our team on a part-time basis, working three days a week. Our office has been set up to run seamlessly and efficiently so you can focus on patient care. You will have a receptionist/tech to guide you through the day, and our owner, Dr. Kiranjeet Sran, will meet with you on your first day to get you started!

Dr. Sran, our owner, graduated from SUNY Optometry in 2017. She has experience working in multiple retail settings as well as most recently in a NYC community health clinic. She started Lumos Eyecare in her home state of NJ in 2023 so she can bring all she has learned back home. She enjoys training new ODs and will also be actively working at the practice so that you don’t have to worry about anything other than seeing your patients.

Responsibilities

  • • Dr. Sran enjoys training new ODs and will also be actively working at the practice so that you don’t have to worry about anything other than seeing your patients
  • • Check-in and Pre-testing (VA, NCT, Autorefractor, Auto Lensometer) done by technician/receptionist
  • • Your problem-focused examination of patients; we have an automated phoropter and dilation drops
  • • EHR is EyeCloud Pro; the owner will provide you with training for charting on day 1
  • • Most exams are private pay (no insurance); tech/receptionist will collect and explain fees

Qualifications

  • - Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
  • - Valid state optometry license and up-to-date credentials
